The SoloHealth Station
WHAT : The SoloHealth Station, a patented technology, is an interactive, self-service kiosk that gives consumers free and convenient access to healthcare by allowing them to screen their vision, blood pressure, weight, and body mass index (BMI)--or any combination of the four--in seven minutes or less for free. The kiosk provides an overall health assessment, access to a database of local physicians, and actionable health recommendations to improve their outcomes moving forward. The kiosk offers highly personalized, targeted and interactive healthcare opportunities for advertisers and retailers by placing the kiosks in high-traffic retail locations and offering access across a multi-platform ecosystem. The SoloHealth Station is HIPAA and FDA compliant.
WHERE : The SoloHealth Station, which is currently located in select testing locations across America, including Walmart, CVS, Publix, Sam's Club and Schnuck's Markets, is in the process of a nationwide rollout that will put the kiosks in thousands of new retail locations, including more than 2,500 Walmart and Sam's Club stores. Additionally, the SoloHealth Station is being tested in other locations such as business campuses. The SoloHealth Station's benefits can reach beyond just retail, although that is the primary portal to interact with consumers.
HOW : The SoloHealth Station is an interactive kiosk that uses a simple touch-screen method with helpful videos to walk the consumer through the simple tests. Consumers will receive a customized report of their results/scores, an overall health assessment and valuable health information, and access to a database of local doctors--all accessed via the user-friendly, touch-screen interface. The SoloHealth Station is powered by Intel and utilizes Dell's OEM Solutions technology, development and deployment expertise.
WHY : The SoloHealth Station is a portal for millions of consumers to access health screenings in a free, fast and self-service manner--many who would not regularly seek healthcare attention--and empower them to act. Individuals today suffer from more chronic illness and poor health than ever before, and it's only escalating. Health care costs are rising out of control. Awareness and prevention will play a vital role in leading to healthier consumers and a more efficient healthcare system. As more consumers seek to take health care into their own hands, free consumer tools and technologies will facilitate awareness and action, leading to the reduction of costs and healthier outcomes for millions.
